Artisan: Sanjay Chitrakar

Born in 1965 in Kathmandu city, Sanjay Chitrakar is our heritage art painter who produced the door header for our gallery. His family owns a painting workshop which is one of oldest in the city. He got involved in his family business in 1972 and started to paint door headers 3 years later. Though its just a supplementary income for his family, he is satisfied with his work and likes to get further opportunities to develop his skills.
